We are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization.
Meaning: We need lots of help in lots of ways! If you want to be more involved, we’d love to have you! We always need people to help run the box office or help with a project. The theatre is currently not open due to COVID-19, but check back as we may need a lot of volunteer help in the future!
If you’re interested, please let us know and email dogstorytheater@gmail.com.
Donating even the smallest amount of money helps the theater survive. To donate, you can use the following link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/donations-to-dog-story-theater-tickets-122115038367.
All donations are tax-deductible and will be immediately put to use. If you’ve been to Dog Story, you know that we keep our expenses very low but we always need money to buy maintenance items like light bulbs, tape and toilet paper and we also seek to improve basic but important items like our audience seating and the stage.

Hello Jay & Josh,
I’m a New York City playwright and I’d like to send you my serious comedy, A DOG’S LIFE.
I know you’re not a producing entity but rather a venue. Nevertheless, you might just know
of theater companies that would be interested in my play. For the record, I did two shows in Michigan,
one at the Jewish Ensemble Theater in W. Bloomfield and a musical in Kalamazoo at Western Michigan
University. So there!
